History drama workshops for Key Stage 2 (KS2)

Transport your pupils back in time with our Key Stage Two (KS2) history drama workshops. Your pupils can meet a Viking, journey to Ancient Egypt or experience life for a child in wartime Britain in our fast-paced, exciting and informative sessions.

The drama workshops are led by one facilitator, often in-role as a historical character, and are suitable for up to 30 children at a time.

    Ages of Early Man (London, West Midlands, South West, Manchester)

    Travel back to the days of early man to explore changes in Britain through the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, or choose to focus on one Age in closer detail.

    As your pupils encounter an array of different characters from Roman Britain, they will help the newest researcher on hit TV quiz Return from the Past decide who they should invite to join the show

    Transport your classroom back to1899 and give your children a lesson they won’t forget as our Victorian schoolteacher assesses handwriting, drill and arithmetic.

    Join John as he reminisces about his early life, time with the Beatles and his travels around the world. See the ‘swinging sixties’ brought vividly to life through songs, roleplay and stories.

    Take your class five thousand years into the past to the mysterious Indus Valley, experiencing religious ceremonies, building citadels, and debating the cause of the civilisation's demise.

    Journeying around the Maya city-state of Palenque, your pupils will learn about the people, religion and culture of this ancient civilisation and consider what eventually led to its collapse.
