Shakespeare's Plays
Choose from the following plays:
- A Midsummer Night’s Dream (KS1 & KS2)
- Hamlet
- The Merchant of Venice
- Macbeth
- Romeo and Juliet
- The Tempest
- Twelfth Night
The use of Shakespeare’s original text is woven into the workshop in a child friendly way. The children are encouraged to experiment with the sounds, rhythms and beauty of his language.
The workshop will deepen the children’s understanding of your chosen play. The teamwork format is ideal for developing communication skills and the character’ dilemmas raise the issues of morality, decision-making and choice.
