Unique Projects 2019/2020

Alongside working with over 900 schools every year, we love working with amazing arts and community organisations, to help enrich the experiences children and families have in their spaces.

This Term

Traditional Tales

Having delivered Stories from Asia last year, we are back for the fourth year in a row at The Cockpit with Large Group Storytelling: Traditional Tales.

Adventures in Computing

Following Black History Month, we are back at Slough Libraries with a lively journey through the history of computing with Ada Lovelace.

Women Through History

Following Quest for Windrush sessions in October, we are delivering Inspiring Women sessions for the community space which is also home to our office.

Alice in Wonderland

To support their exhibition on British Surrealism, we will be leading children through Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland for their Topsy Turvy Day.

We are also delighted to be working with North Herefordshire Council to present an intergenerational version of our workshop Stories from Africa. We are also looking forward to celebrating a birthday party with a special space workshop.

Last Term

Home Front Britain

26th August | Uxbridge

To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the start of the Second World War, we delivered a special Second World War session at this unique venue.

Black History Month

October | Slough Libraries & Kensington and Chelsea Libraries

We were delighted to work with many of our favourite children's library partners again this year to deliver a variety of Black History Month workshops.

We are also delighted to be working again with IntoUniversity

IntoUniversity provides local learning centres where young people are inspired to achieve. They offer an innovative programme that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attain their chosen aspiration.

We will be delivering Inspiring Women, Second World War, Science Machine, Let's Locate and Ages of Early Man sessions in their centres across Kennington, Hammersmith and Brixton.

Summer Reading Challenge

Each year we create a new workshop for the nationwide Summer Reading Challenge. In 2019, we created an out-of-this-world adventure to defeat book-eating aliens.
