Alice in Wonderland

Send your children on a magical adventure down the rabbit hole to discover the topsy turvy world of Wonderland. Led by a highly skilled and experienced drama facilitator who will keep your class actively engaged and participating throughout.

Creating crazy concoctions at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, exploring opposites with the ‘Eat Me Cake’ and ‘Drink Me Potion’ and getting the white rabbit’s clock ticking once again, your children will delight in visiting the different locations and meeting the weird and wonderful inhabitants of Wonderland. Just be careful not to anger the Queen of Hearts or it’ll be ‘off with your head’!

Benefits

Our Early Years Story Hunts support learning goals by embedding the objectives in the structure and delivery of the session.

  • Listening and attention: children listen to stories anticipating key events; respond with relevant comments or actions.
  • Speaking: children show awareness of listeners’ needs; they develop their own narratives by connecting ideas or events.
  • Moving and handling: children show good control and coordination; move confidently, safely negotiating the space.
  • Self-confidence and self-awareness: trying new activities; speaking in a group; responsible for resources and props.
  • Managing relationships and behaviour: working as part of a group, taking turns with others; follow instructions.
