An Island Home

Subject: Geography

Age Group: KS1

Region: London/Greater London

Visit Katie Morag on her remote island home of Struay off the coast of Scotland. Explore the island, meet the characters and relive some of Katie Morag’s adventures, all while discovering what life on a small island is like and learning some Scottish words along the way. The workshop is very interactive and the children will take an active role in bringing the Island to life. The session finishes with a lively ceilidh as the children inhabit some of the characters.
