VE Day Assembly
The 8th May marks 80 years since VE Day and we'd be delighted to help you commemorate this landmark anniversary in your school.
Entering the mysterious tomb of King Mentuhotep, your children must use clues and artefacts to unravel the secrets of Ancient Egypt, its landscape, gods and goddesses and rituals of the afterlife. Will they lift the curse and escape the tomb unscathed?
Solve Ancient Egyptian-related tasks, including the recreation of an Egyptian landscape, embarking on a journey into the afterlife and becoming keen archaeologists in the Artefacts Challenge, in order to impress King Mentuhotep and lift the curse of the tomb!
This was pitched perfectly for the age of the children. They responded with so much enjoyment. Just perfect. The facilitator was fabulous in role as the archaeologist. She was well prepared and the tasks were pitched really well. I feel certain that we will invite Freshwater back next year!
