Exploring the life and times of these two intrepid explorers; recreating the events of their journeys, your pupils will discover the many similarities between these two men.
One facilitator visits your school in role as the Time Traveller and works with a class at a time, taking the children on imaginary journeys back to the 15th Century and then to the 20th Century. They will embark on a voyage from Genoa heading west across the ocean and launch into space in Apollo 11.
Workshops also available with a sole focus on either Christopher Columbus or Neil Armstrong – if interested in booking one of these, please just mention this in your enquiry.
