Dance Through Celebrations and Festivals

Choose from whichever celebration or festival you are studying and celebrate through dance. Whether it’s Chinese New Year, Christmas, Eid, or Diwali, we can explore it in an inclusive and accessible environment.

With opportunities to explore their own creative movement, and follow facilitator-led choreography, the children will learn about the history of the celebration and how it is celebrated today. As a class of potentially different faiths, this session offers an opportunity for your children to learn about traditions that they may be unfamiliar with, through the universal language of dance.

The children loved joining in and the facilitator had a great way with them. We’ve had other groups in the past for this day and this was by far one of the better ones!
