Early Years French Storytelling

Join the story hunt in this EYFS French workshop!

In this French language workshop, specifically created for Early Years children, our storyteller will take you on an imaginative journey, all in French!

Our specialist French facilitator will lead you in an interactive telling of the well-know fairytale,  Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Using songs, rhymes, and repetition of key vocabulary, this special Early Years Story Hunt session is JAM-PACKED (or should that be, PORRIDGE-PACKED) with interactive activities to engage you.

You will become immersed in the French language, and delight in bringing this classic tale to life.

Key vocabulary covered will include numbers, colours, and sizes. As well as opposites (such as hot/cold and hard/soft), and emotions (like angry/sad.)

This popular EYFS French workshop is mostly immersive and told in French. (Although we can use some English when required, to aid you in following the story).

It’s never too early to leap into language!

Important Events Link

This workshop is perfect to support year-round learning as well as the following important events in your year planner:

  • European Day of Languages (26th September)

Most of the children had never spoken any French and they were taking part and repeating lots of French throughout the session.

All teachers were very impressed with the session. Those who thought the children would become restless after 30 minutes saw that the children were engaged for nearly an hour.
