Inspiring Women

Led by Hera, the Greek Goddess of Women, this workshop will introduce children to extraordinary women from various spheres: adventurous and pioneering women, women in the arts, women in politics and women in science. Visiting different locations and time periods, the children will explore the lives of women such as:

Rosa Parks – an American activist in the civil rights movement, known for her role in the Montgomery bus boycott.
Frida Kahlo – a Mexican painter known for her self-portraits and art works. Her art style explored questions of identity, gender and race in Mexican society.
Amelia Earhart – aviation pioneer and author, the first female aviator to fly solo over the Atlantic Ocean.
Edith Cavell – a British nurse in WWI who is celebrated for saving the lives of soldiers from both sides without discrimination.

  • Length of session: 60 minutes

  • Price: £142 + VAT per session, £127 + VAT per ONLINE session, Large group costs £235 + VAT

  • Number of Children: up to 30 or large group up to 120
