The Quest for… Space

Invite our boundless astronaut to lead your pupils on a cosmic quest.

As potential new recruits for the Space Programme, the facilitator will lead children on a range of training assignments. They will discover what astronauts do, learn about stars, recreate the first moon landing, and journey through our solar system to explore the planets, perhaps even discovering alien life!

If they complete their assignments they will graduate as astronauts themselves. Do they have what it takes

Why choose Freshwater?

Our sessions:

  • Are highly interactive, offering hands-on learning, which allows all your pupils to access the topic.
  • Add depth and richness to the curriculum and stimulate further learning.
  • Use carefully chosen drama techniques, so that children feel a personal involvement in the topic which helps to embed subject knowledge.
  • Allow the teacher an opportunity to observe pupils’ progress from a different perspective.
  • Are led by experienced drama facilitators who immerse the children in an imaginative world, helping to make learning fun!

Definitely a great stimulus to explore our topic I took lots of notes and lines of enquiry to build on from her starting points.
