The Quest for…Space

One facilitator visits your school in role as an astronaut and works with a class at a time for one hour, taking them on a quest to gain knowledge and understanding of their topic of Space. They use a small number of props and visual aids, but the focus of the workshop is on using interactive drama activities such as role play and tableaux.

As potential new recruits for the Space Programme, your children will learn about stars, recreate the first moon landing, and journey through our solar system to explore the planets, perhaps even discovering alien life!

Definitely a great stimulus to explore our topic I took lots of notes and lines of enquiry to build on from her starting points.
