Visiting seaside holiday destinations from 1910 to the present day, your children will explore how holidays and pastimes have changed over the past century in a session filled with holiday fun.
The children will go on an imaginary journeys to visit seaside holiday destinations through the last century, meeting Punch and Judy in 1910, learning what holidays meant during wartime in the 1940s, exploring seaside activities in 1950s, and taking a trip to the Butlins summer camps of the 1970s.
The children were engaged right from the start and loved the interaction of the whole session. They couldn’t stop talking about it afterwards! Great way to hook the kids in and get them enthusiastic about the subject they are getting ready to learn.
