The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark

Subject: Literacy/Storytelling

Age Group: KS1

Region: London/Greater London

As your children help bring the tale of ‘Plop the Owl’ to life, they will discover that the dark can be ‘kind’, ‘fascinating’ and ‘fun’ so there is no need to be afraid!

One facilitator works with your class, using drama activities such as role-play and tableaux, to explore light and dark, nocturnal and diurnal, predators and prey. Maybe your children can help ‘Plop’ the baby barn owl overcome his fear of the dark!
