In this KS1 and KS2 Danceworkshop, you can choose whichever celebration or festival you are studying and celebrate it through dance! Whether it’s Chinese New Year, Christmas, Eid, or Diwali, we can explore it in an inclusive and accessible environment.
With opportunities to explore your own creative movement, and follow facilitator-led choreography, you will learn about the history of the specific celebration chosen. Then, discover how it is celebrated today. With music, warm ups (and cool downs), and an abundance of facts, this KS1 and KS2 Dance workshop is both fun and informative.
Also, as a class of potentially different faiths, this KS1 and KS2 Dance workshop offers an opportunity for you to learn about traditions you may be unfamiliar with, through the universal language of dance.
