What sessions do we offer?

We offer interactive Drama Workshops, Large Group sessions, Assemblies, History Shows, and History Days.

You can find more details on our What We Offer page.

How far in advance do you need to book?

We can take bookings up to a year ahead but the standard lead-in time is 3-6 weeks.

We are happy to take short notice bookings. As long as we have someone available to send to you, we are happy to take a booking as late as a few days before the visit.

For all advance bookings it is our policy to confirm with your school once we reach the term of your workshop or show.

How do I book?

Fill out our enquiry page here or call us on 0208 983 3601.

If you’re not sure which workshop you’d like to book, tell us a bit about the topic you’re studying or the event you’re celebrating, and we can suggest a session or two.

How many children can you have in a session?

We want your pupils to have the best interactive experience possible so, for workshops, we limit numbers to 30 children. For History Shows, MFL Storytelling and Large Group Sessions we can accommodate up to 120 children.

We charge £5 per head (£7 for History Days) for extra children.

Are all of our facilitators DBS checked?

Yes, all of our facilitators are Enhanced DBS checked in line with our Child Protection Policy.

What areas do we work in?

We work in Greater London, the West Midlands, Greater Manchester and the South West (Gloucestershire and parts of Avon).

We also visit parts of Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire in the Midlands, Liverpool in the North West, and the Home Counties in the Greater London region. However, visits to these areas can incur extra travel costs which are calculated upon booking.

To browse what is available and where, see our What We Offer page.

What time do we arrive?

For most of our workshops and large group sessions we will arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the session to set up in the hall, sometimes a little longer if the facilitator is changing into costume.

For our History shows, the two actors will be bringing a small set, props and costumes so will arrive 45 minutes before the start of the show to set up in the hall. Please note they will also take 20-30 minutes to pack away afterwards.

Do you have to pay a deposit?

No, we don’t require a deposit.

What is our risk assessment policy?

We have a general risk assessment policy that covers all our work in schools. We have over 100 sessions available, so we do not have a specific risk assessment for each one. Download a copy here.

Are there any additional costs?

Usually, there are no additional costs. However, if you fall outside of our catchment area, there may be extra travel costs for some sessions. We always try to keep travel costs to a minimum to ensure our work is affordable.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, it’s written in our terms and conditions – available here.

During our visit

What do you need to provide?

For all of our sessions, workshops and shows we require a clear hall space (except for Victorian Schooldays, which takes place in a classroom). Sometimes we need a few tables and chairs.

Full details of requirements can be found in our vital information sheet which will be sent with your confirmation. The facilitator will also contact you a couple of days in advance of the visit with any specific requirements.

How much teacher support do we need?

We require at least one member of teaching staff to be present throughout the entire session. Additional staff are also very welcome to ensure the smooth running of the session and to assist with behaviour management.

How long do the sessions last?

Most sessions are 60 minutes except for the History Shows which last for 80 minutes.

After our visit
