Explore Shakespeare in a fun and accessible way, in a KS1 and KS2 Shakespeare workshop!

In these popular workshops, you will be introduced to William Shakespeare in a fun and accessible way. Choose from a variety of the Bard’s well-known plays. Then explore the plot and experiment with the language, before using vocalisation and movement to bring the play to life. And finally, taking on a host of captivating characters!

In your KS1 and KS2 Shakespeare workshop, you will use the original text, which is woven into the workshop in a child-friendly way. You will be encouraged to experiment with the sounds, rhythms and beauty of his language.

The workshop will deepen your understanding of your chosen play.

Ideal for developing communication skills through the teamwork format, and for exploring issues, ethics, decision-making and choice using the character’s dilemmas.

  • A Midsummer Night’s Dream (KS1 & KS2)
  • Hamlet (KS2)
  • The Merchant of Venice (KS2)
  • Macbeth (KS2)
  • Romeo and Juliet (KS2)
