Pick a traditional story, myth, or legend and we will help you interpret it through dance and creative movement in this KS1 and KS2 Dance workshop!

Led by our specialist dance facilitator, you will learn how to use gesture and facial expressions to convey intent and feeling. Following that, you will apply these skills to perform a narrative and differentiate between characters. Then you will have the opportunity to explore your own creative movement. Before following facilitator-led choreography to bring the story off the page in this KS1 and KS2 Dance workshop.

Ideal for discussing PSHE topics such as: Boundaries around personal space/belongings. As well as morals like discrimination, understanding the impact of our words/actions, accepting ourselves for who we are, finding true friends.

The workshop includes games, music, and storytelling, and links with science, animals, literacy, and is an alternative to Physical Education/Dance.
