Crossing Continents and Oceans

Accompany the Earth Explorer on a global expedition in this continents and oceans KS1 workshop! Along the way, your pupils will traverse the five oceans and investigate the landmarks and climates of the seven continents.

Our engaging and experienced facilitator will guide the children on an imaginary trip using drama techniques such as soundscapes, role-play and tableaux. They will need their map-reading knowledge as they locate each of the continents and seas on a map, and find out fascinating facts about the climates, cultures and geographical features of the places they visit.

It was lovely to see every child have the opportunity to get involved with the activities. The session was very active and upbeat which really kept the children interested. It was great to have each continent covered, as the children learnt a lot about different cultures and countries.
