Crossing Continents and Oceans

Accompany the Earth Explorer on a global expedition traversing the five oceans and seven continents.

Whilst learning facts about the size and inhabitants of each ocean, children investigate the landmarks and climates of each of the seven continents, including the Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef and Mount Everest.

Important Events Link

This workshop is perfect to support year-round learning as well as the following important events in your year planner:

  • World Ocean’s Day (8th June)

The session gave a great opportunity for the children to recap previous learning of the names of the continents and oceans, while developing their knowledge by linking natural wonders to those places. This will formulate future work for our topic.
