Pick a traditional story, myth or legend and we will interpret it through dance and creative movement activities.
Led by our specialist dance facilitator, your class will learn how to use gesture and facial expressions to convey intent and feeling, in order to perform the narrative and differentiate between characters. With opportunities to explore their own creative movement, and follow facilitator-led choreography, the children will bring the story off the page in this interactive workshop.
Children were engaged throughout. The facilitator explained all aspects of the dance and involved the children and their suggestions. Comments from the children included: ‘We loved using our faces to make expressions’
