Rivers and Water

Subject: Geography

Age Group: KS2

Region: London/Greater London, North West

Lights, camera, action, it’s the KS2 Rivers and Water workshop!

Are you ready to become the cast and crew of TV show Riverwatch?! During this interactive drama workshop the larger-than-life presenter, Claudia Skies, needs your help with the latest TV episode. Can you work together to create the water cycle? Can you take a journey down the river Thames using tableaux?

Get ready for quizzes, word-shout-outs, visualisation, and recreation in this popular Geography workshop.

Our KS2 Rivers and Water workshop facilitator can alter the activities to best fit your topic focus (Rivers OR Water). The workshop will finish with a great debate on one of two topics:

  • the use of rivers for personal versus industry use
  • the availability and shortage of water for different people around the world

Whether you’re at the source of the topic or have reached the mouth (see what we did there?), this is the perfect way to bring your Rivers and Water topic to life!
