From the blistering heat of the Sahara desert to the bitter chill of Antarctica, experience a range of climates, categorise weather patterns and simulate seasons on the Earth Explorer’s latest transatlantic trek.
The Earth Explorer is an adventure-loving traveller who is fascinated by the world and its wonders and hopes to inspire your pupils to love the Earth as much as they do. You class will join them on their latest expedition – a trek around the world to experience a range of different climates from temperate to polar, desert to monsoon. Along the way, they will categorise some weather patterns, role-play different types of weather, and produce a season soundscape.
Fun and interesting for children. Children were fully engaged and excited by the workshop. A really worthwhile educational experience!
