Transport your class back to 1899 in this interactive KS1 or KS2 Victorian Schools workshop.
Experience a day in the life of a victorian school day, led by our stern Victorian schoolteacher, your KS1 or KS2 pupils will experience firsthand what a day at a ‘Board School’ was like in our drama workshop.
It is sure to be a lesson they won’t forget as they’re assessed in handwriting, drill and arithmetic. But they best be careful not to break the school rule ‘Speech is silver, silence is golden’ or the troublemaker may find themselves receiving one of the infamous Victorian punishments! Experience this all in our KS1 or KS2 Victorian Schools workshop.
Our sessions:
From the moment the children walked into the workshop they felt they had stepped back in time. The style of teaching was exactly what we had discussed in our History learning so it really brought it alive for them. It was really brilliant!
