VE Day Assembly
The 8th May marks 80 years since VE Day and we'd be delighted to help you commemorate this landmark anniversary in your school.
In our KS2 WW2 workshop get ready to plunge into the blackouts, rationing, and evacuations of Home Front Britain!
You will imagine what life was like for wartime children during World War Two (Second World War). Then you roleplay an Air Raid siren situation. And finally, help our news reporter write an article about the lives of everyday people living during wartime.
Using drama activities and games, respond to ‘Safety Commands,’ and use photos to improvise and create scenes to explore a part of British history in this KS2 WW2 workshop.
This interactive drama workshop will help you understand this important point in time in an engaging, sensitive and age appropriate way.
