Adventures with Baxter Bear

Geography (KS1)

Where in the World is Baxter Bear?

Subject: Geography

Age Group: Early Years (EYFS), KS1

Region: London/Greater London

Baxter Bear has lived in London his entire life, but he is keen to discover what the rest of the world has to offer – and your children are along for the ride.

Under the supervision of our experienced facilitator, they will join Baxter as he uses his trusty compass and globe to navigate around the world. Firing their imaginations with an array of drama activities, they will sample the cultural delights of France and Mexico, pick up some basic French and Spanish phrases, and exercise their map reading skills by identifying compass points and locating countries on Baxter’s globe.

We were impressed with how engaged the children were and how much was covered in the time.
