Adventures with Baxter Bear

Baxter Bear’s Rainforest Adventure

Subject: Geography

Age Group: KS1

Region: London/Greater London

In this KS1 Rainforest workshop venture deep into the Brazilian rainforest!

With our mini (furry) explorer Baxter Bear, you will encounter an array of curious creatures; you will experience the climate they live in; and you will discover what would happen if their habitat were to be destroyed.

First, take various modes of transport- from a coach to a plane to a wobbly rope bridge- check you have all your equipment before you travel to the rainforest. Then, use all your senses to explore the sights, sounds, and smells of this magnificent place. Finally, climb high into the treetop! And together discuss how we can keep the rainforest safe.

Games, freezeframe, and a medley of other interactive activities are included in this KS1 Rainforest workshop.

Get ready for a Baxter Bear- led adventure!
