Interactive MFL Performances

for Year 6 and Key Stage Three (KS3)

Don Quijote

Meet the famous don Quijote de la Mancha, self-pronounced knight errant and defender of chivalry. Or so he believes! At his side, the ever-faithful Sancho Panza tries to keep his master tethered to reality and out of danger, but Don Quijote’s so-called ‘chivalry’ leads to misadventure at every step.

English and Spanish are seamlessly woven together by our specialist language facilitator and your pupils will take on multiple roles to help tell the story; an ideal opportunity to improve their Spanish speaking and listening skills, whilst gaining confidence performing to their peers.

Important Events Link

These workshop are perfect to support year-round learning as well as the following important events in your year planner

  • National Day of Spain (12th October)
  • European Day of Languages (26th September)

An excellent opportunity to get all the children speaking other languages and to boost their confidence doing things in front of their peers. All the students found it an uplifting experience and thoroughly enjoyed taking part. Keeping 12/13 year olds focussed for an hour can be tricky, but the performance was gripping, the leaders were highly entertaining and had all the students waiting in anticipation for the next part of the story.
